The objective of this contract was to conduct comprehensive topographical surveys for various natural gas network investment projects across multiple administrative units in Romania’s Southern Region, encompassing the counties of Sibiu, Mureș, Harghita, and Alba. These surveys will support the development of projects involving pipe and connection replacement, network extensions for new consumers, and cathodic protection works to safeguard pipelines, all in accordance with the client’s requirements, SC DELGAZ GRID SA.

Leveraging a hybrid approach of classical surveying techniques and advanced photogrammetry with a DJI Matrice M300RTK drone, we meticulously captured and organized comprehensive topographical data, including precise details of buildings, structures, utilities, postal addresses, property boundaries, road infrastructure, railway lines, waterways, green spaces, and utility networks, ensuring seamless integration into the client’s GIS application.
