As part of the “Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Development Project in Afumați and Găneasa, Ilfov County” contract, we made a significant contribution to modernizing the water and wastewater infrastructure in Afumați and Găneasa, Ilfov County, by implementing a high-performance GIS system.

Key activities:

– data collection, with the goal of creating a comprehensive inventory within a geographic database related to the water and wastewater infrastructure in Afumați and Găneasa, Ilfov County
– topographic surveys, orthofotogrammetry, vectorization of obtained plans
– comprehensive measurements and detailed inventory (network trajectories, material specifications, geometric details, age assessment, depth determination, soil type identification, road surface classification, invert and flow elevations, connection points) for the water and wastewater network

Leveraging cutting-edge technology, we conducted detailed topographic measurements across an extensive water and wastewater network, encompassing 68 kilometers of water pipes and 25 kilometers of sewers. Utilizing a combination of classical surveying methods and modern photogrammetry techniques, we meticulously inventoried over 3,500 infrastructure elements.
